Job Description
Main Purpose of Role :-

  • Ensure we have winning strategies and commercial plans for assigned categories, based on insight, and cross functionally aligned
  • 5Ps for (assigned categories e.g. Gum, Candy, etc.) , in collaboration with the channel team, contributing to POS by RE
  • Provision of 12 month price & promotional plans, combining with other demand driver understanding to assess sufficiency to AC targets
  • Sales IBP lead for category
  • Support the 6 month Sales Activities grid, ensuring the right category product focus and prioritization within the overall cross category plan
  • Ensures the Sales teams have the clarity, capabilities and tools to execute brilliant
  • Voice of customer, RE & shopper internally
  • Together with the CPA head “orchestrates” the delivery of (assigned categories) AC.
Main Responsibilities :-

Category Strategy
  • Ensure category strategy in place, defining our role in market place by category
  • Ensure SMAP process applied to drive standard in collaborative planning, activation and tracking of key activities e.g. NPD
  • Ensure provision of category expertise to MT team to provide cat man support, big bet sell in support & growth orientated JBPs
  • Sales lead for monthly category SMAP meeting
Perfect Stores
  • Support channel CPA teams with Picture of Success by ensuring provision of insight based 5P inputs for (assigned categories)
Commercial Planning
  • Ensure 12 month price and promotional programs in place, continuously improved through post analysis / ROI reviews
  • Ensure SMAP process contains robust bottom up sales views for NPD / key activities
  • Ensure Revenue Management and ROI principles applied on all levels of trade spent and management of resources
  • Ensure 6 month bottom up, assumption based sales forecast in collaboration with IBP partners and channel CPA heads, with contribution to - longer term demand plan as part of country IBP process
In store Activation
  • Support Channel CPA with (assigned categories) inputs to rolling 6 month activation grid for TT / MT teams as part of overall 12 month promotional plan
  • Support Channel CPA with monthly activity briefing to share latest activity grid and bring in external insight into internal planning process
  • Ensuring capability of CPA team aligned to desired standards through on-going on the job T&D

  • Degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG environment
