Mondelez International is looking for: Maintenance Coordinator
A maintenance engineer has an assigned technical area (or equipment) for which he will completely support in all technical issues. He drives to assure that technical personnel is trained to complete all breakdown, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance. Continuously supports technicians in Root Cause Analysis exercises. As Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the assigned area, he will review and be part of the approval process for any changes made to the equipment and its related equipment. The position will see the equipment through its entire life cycle.  He works very closely with all AM and PM pillar related activities.
The maintenance engineer’s purpose is to assure high MTBF and low MTTR of all plant equipment by: continuously enhancing personnel technical abilities in resolving equipment failures, continuously improving equipment maintenance plans, supporting teams in RCA, and developing the AM and PM pillars.
  • Teams are always supported to achieve BIC MTBF and MTTR results.
  • Growth and expansion of the progressive maintenance in the plant.
  • Train team personnel to gain further knowledge of maintenance tasks. Coach on-the-job.
  • Participates with teams in problem solving initiatives using GB/BB tools.
  • Continuously work with teams to improve their activities.
  • Subject Matter Expert for the assigned technologies or disciplines.
  • Provides continuous feedback to engineering to always drive for better reliability and maintainability capacities of future equipment and processes in relation with automation.
  • Maintains automation strategy and roadmap for the plant as well as coordinate with global Mondelez initiatives.
  • Develops maintenance budget for assigned areas. Collaborates with teams and managers in improving maintenance costs.
  • Executes small to medium level engineering projects.
  • Implementation of high level maintenance activities described in PM pillar levels 3 and 4.
Uses advanced technical maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermal imaging analysis, and ultrasound) to detect potential problems.
Academic Knowledge
  • BS in Engineering in any of the following fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemical, or Industrial
  • Knowledge in TPM, Autonomous maintenance, Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Knowledge in GB analysis and problems solutions methodologies such as 5 why’s
  • Knowledge in complex technical problems analysis
  • Conversation English (basic)
Working Knowledge
  • Mechanical maintenance experience of at least 3 yrs.
  • TPM methodology experience of at least 2 yrs.
  • GB Tools experience in mechanical maintenance of at least 2 yrs.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities of at least 2 yrs.
  • SAP PM knowledge
  • Food industry experience.
  • Team player.
  • Able to teach others through theory and practice.
  • Proactive.
  • Able to understand and link process information.
  • Able to learn on the fly.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Capacity to analyse complex technical problems.
  • Able to follow and to prepare instructions for himself and for others.

  • Understands the basic principles of operation of machine electronics and/or controls. (PLC, VFD, sensors, logic, networks).
