Position overview

As Demand Planner, you will lead the demand planning process in Belgium, in line with the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, to ensure an accurate forecast resulting from the consensus and the commitment from all stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance).

 

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the forecast build-up by customer and products, collecting and challenging forecast assumptions (base, promo, cannibalization, Innovations, market trends, media, …)
  • Drive the consensus and alignment process with Sales & Marketing on future business evolution by providing business intelligence and performance analysis
  • Ensure good cooperation with finance in order to have a relevant valorization of net revenue.
  • Escalate business opportunities and risks to the business teams and participate actively to business team meetings
  • Deliver the CS&L KPI’s regarding Service level, Forecast error, Forecast Bias, Broker Sales
  • Timely and correct communication of forecast to the Country Fulfillment team to manage the appropriate stock levels
  • Support the Western European road map on IBP excellence
You will report directly to the Demand Planning & Fulfillment Manager Belgium.
Qualifications
Profile & Competencies
  • You have relevant experience in CS&L-topics within the FMCG-industry
  • Having experience with the forecasting process & IBP consensus management is an advantage
  • You have a Master Degree in Economics / Supply Chain or you have acquired at least 4 years of relevant experience

  • You are very analytical, and you have a strong drive for results

  • Self-starter, high level of personal accountability, and innovative individual

  • You demonstrate ability to effectively interact and influence colleagues of various levels and disciplines

  • You are fluent in Dutch/French and English, both written and spoken
