Make sure plant Quality and Food Safety Assurance activities conform to the current legislation, Standards of Ukraine, corporate standards, international standards and local Mondelez Ukraine procedures.
Manage QA team by settings goals to direct reports and assessing their performance, coach, coordinate and monitor regularly their activities. Prepare necessary stuff on ensure professional growth of subordinates, arrange training sessions, seminars as well as mastering new approaches and methods of raw materials, semi- and finished goods quality control.
Ensure development of QA team. Ensure proper training for section’s team members. Ensure short- and long-term planning of workforce.
Assure functioning of KFU Quality and Environment Management System, according to Standard ISO-9000, ISO-14000, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 22000, QCMS standard requirements, GMP principles (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP standard (Hazard Analysis Control Critical Points), GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) applied
Establish and maintain Quality Management System to manage product quality and safety in a way, which continuously improve quality KPI’s (e.g. GMP audits, consumer and customer complaints, EMM).
Ensure Food Safety of all manufactured products by implementing the relevant legal and corporate requirements and by continuous verification of the compliance and effectiveness of installed НАССР system.
Assure quality and safety by testing all relevant (chemical, physical, microbiological and sensory) properties of established and new raw materials, PM, processes, SFP and FP in accordance with QMS Manual, HACCP system, legislation and internal documents.
Coordinate activities of QA Department and other appropriate departments during corporate audit, Food Authorities, Certification Body and other third party audits as for QMS, product quality and safety.
Initiate current product quality and safety improvement, analyze and propose quality improvement programs.
Ensure proper functioning HACCP system in the plant by implementing timely changes, conducting risk assessments, monitoring and CCP and sPP, verification and validation of HACCP plans.
Manage the process of implementation and approval at the regional level allergen risk assessments for new products, the installation of new production lines, transfer of production between Mondelez International factories.
Manage and co-ordinate cross-functional and cross-department activities, knowledge and information exchange in order to ensure consistent approach to all aspects of quality and food safety. Coach peers in quality and food safety related subjects.
Coordinate and monitor activities of plant Laboratories (5 labs). Ensure new laboratory equipment and methods implementation.
Review and approve specifications for raw materials, semi-finished products, packaging materials, finished goods, labeling FG and technological instructions.
Coordinate evaluation of finished and semi-finished goods, not complying with Standards of Quality, and decide upon their further disposition
Suspend release or take back-finished product, based on detected quality non-conformities.
Analyze formal customer and consumers complaints, investigate root cause, propose specific corrective actions and appropriately track their fulfillment.
Define and coordinate hygiene and sanitary programs, reliably protect good, taking into account norms of hygiene, microbiology and principles of HACCP.
Together with HR department organize the VLPD process within own department.
Plan the budget concerning all aspects of QA department and guarantee its cost-effective use and compliance.
Ensure a program of local suppliers’ development, supplier audits conducting according to Mondelēz International requirements in collaboration with corporate Quality and Purchasing departments.
Degree or Higher specialized education in Chemistry /Technology Science or equivalent, preferable knowledge of process confectionery/ coffee technology and laboratory quality control
Professional experience not less than 5 years in QA, R&D or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of physical-chemical and microbiological research
Deep knowledge of legal regulations as for food safety and quality and Corporate standards on QCMS, GMP, HACCP, Mondelez official analytical and microbiological methods and international standards ISO-9000, ISO-14000& ISO-22000, OHSAS 18001:2007
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory instruments, instructional materials and other S&E guidance
Experience in dealing with Food Authorities
Excellent communication and organizational skills, good analytical thinking, coaching and influencing skills, strong leadership skills
