HR Advisor / HR Generalist
12 month contract
Immediate Opportunity 
 
 
Mondelez International manufactured and sells iconic brands for domestic and export markets.  Mondelez Ireland operates two factories in Ireland, the Coolock finished goods site making key Cadbury brands such as DairyMilk, Twirl, Flake and Boost and the Rathmore site in Kerry making Chocolate Crumb.
 
The primary purpose of this HR opportunity is to provide accurate and timely HR Administration and advisory support to employees and management in a unionised Manufacturing environment.  
The role works very closely with the HR Manager (Manufacturing) to provide HR support to 450 employees.
 
 Key areas of responsibility include;
 
  1. 1st level HR Advisory Support on internal policies and employment law
  2. Attendance Management
  3. HR Administration and reporting
  4. Recruitment  Process administration and management
  5. Training  - Administration /  course needs  identification
  6. Employee Relations
     
     
HR Advisory support: Provide high-quality, timely, and professional customer service to customers responding to queries, advising on policies and procedures and managing HR administration processes, leasing to managed business services team in the UK as required. Manage data gathering to provide accurate and timely instructions to payroll.
Manage requests such as Forced Majeure.
 
Attendance Management: Drive Attendance Management by running local reports, liaising with Occupational Health regarding well-being programmes and reviews, Management of the lates and absence procedure and advising management of the same.
 
 
HR Administration and Reporting: Provision of support and reporting on all HR Processes. Point of contact for Data submission to Mondelez Share services centre based in the UK.  Drive for continuous improvements on HR processes.
 
 
 
These accountabilities may include Plant specific production of letters, updating of local spreadsheets and HR systems (SAP).
 
 
Recruitment & On-boarding Administration of recruitment process including advertisement, shortlisting, interviews and aptitudes tests where relevant.
 
Training and Learning and Development Support: Responsible for organising and leasing with 3rd party Training providers to provide relevant Compliance training as identified by the Quality, Environmental Health and Safety Team.
Support business in new training initiatives / training needs analysis and relevant reports and records management.
 
 
Employee Relations
Support HR Manager in preparations for union meetings - inputs and outputs.
Maintain and update policies and agreements according to best practice
Facilitation, note taking and guidance to managers on Grievance and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications
Requirements 
 
  • 2 years HR experience providing HR  advisory support
  • Academic qualification in HR 
  • Proven track record in handling HR queries including implementation of local polices with knowledge of employment law.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong IT ability  including excel
  • A self-starter who works well in both a proactive and reactive  environment
  • Drive for results
 
 
This role is a 12 month contract covering maternity leave. The role offers strong training and exposure to all aspects of HR in a unionised environment for the successful candidate.
