Chocolate is the biggest category in Mondelēz UK, with powerful brands like Cadbury, Toblerone, Green & Black’s and Milka. Our success is such that we are the largest reporting entity within Mondelēz Europe, therefore our Finance roles have a very high profile and impact within the overall organisation. 

The UK Chocolate business is managed as three sub-categories:
- Seasonal 
- Tablets, Small Bites & Hot Chocolate 
- Countlines & Multipacks

As a Senior Analyst, you will be a strategic business partner to the marketing and sales functions, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver the annual contract for one of the sub-categories. These roles offer a great opportunity to influence the agenda of the sub-category, proactively challenge the status quo and evolve the ways of working to improve business performance and efficiency.

As part of our Finance team, you will also be part of our global network of Mondelēz Finance professionals, who actively network on business insights, opportunities for development and social events, with a strong global finance development strategy. You will be part of an amazing group of professionals who are passionate about moving the finance function forward, making us world class, more connected and more energised.

Main Responsibilities:
Business partner to the marketing, sales and supply chain leads for the sub-category, leading the finance agenda and shaping the short and long term plans for the category
Collaboratively work cross-functionally to develop and enhance our new product developments and our existing product portfolio and price architecture, to deliver category and share growth
Develop the annual category forecasts with marketing and sales, review and understand monthly P&L performance 
Engage with the sales team in monthly forecasting process to understand latest view of business outlook in order to alter category plans where needed..
Review all commercial proposals, aligning a recommendation with the cross category team to ensure that short term target delivery is balanced with longer term category strategy
Proactively challenge the status quo and changing the current ways of working to improve business efficiency


Qualifications
Educated to Degree Level 
Professional finance qualification
Previous commercial finance experience
Experience within an FMCG environment
