In Research, Development, Quality & Innovations (RDQ&I), your skills can be the special ingredient that brings our brands to life. As part of a fantastic team of scientists, engineers and nutritionists, you’ll work tirelessly on product design or development, process development, quality, nutrition, sensory and food safety aspects to ensure we deliver a consistent, delightful consumer experience. RDQ&I is where you’ll turn great ideas into brilliant brands.

The holder of this position will be accountable for end to end project management of the process aspects of specific work tracks in Project Smile in accordance with the internal project management principles.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Develop clear Critical To Process (CTP) against the layed out CTQs specifications for individual product families and that the plant have a methodology for measuring these. The specification includes, process flow diagram, process discriptions, process parameters & CTP with targets and ranges 
  • Write the process specific parts of the IDB which include, CTPs, process descriptions, process controls, analyitical analysis (test needed and frequency), & rework methodology
  • Participate in the execution stages of various project types (Growth, Margin Management, Brand Maintenance & Quality Improvement).  Be able to lead process activities and commercialize new or existing products and recipes on manufacturing lines, following C-Q-V procedures 
  • Initiate discussions with other functions to ensure alignment not only within R&D but with others when planning and executing projects
  • Able to clearly summarise and articulate key technical points in communicating cross-functionally, and able to influence and convince stakeholders of a particular course of action where necessary

Qualifications
  • Degree Level Education Science/Food Science/Engineering
  • 2-3 Years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience writing Process Specs including CTPs
  • Technical understanding of products and processes
  • Process specifications
  • Communication skills
This is a short term assignment for 12 months.
