Job Description
Maintain The Supply & Production Plan
• Coordinate and maintain a valid Supply Plan covering a rolling 24 month horizon (Planning Horizon) for all items within area of responsibility
• Ensure that the Supply Plan meets the identified market demand as agreed through the IBP Process
• Ensure that the Supply Plan maintains inventories within agreed Inventory Plan for finished goods & WIP
• Quality production plan based on Planning System recommendations, Pre-SR & other known constraints in order to achieve appropriate balance between inventory, cost and customer service level
• Communicate of run out plans to plant. (allowing for appropriate capacity / labour decisions)

Manage the Supply & production Planning Process
• Identify risks & opportunities in the supply plans (both finished goods and WIP) and identify future production capacity requirements to achieve commercial growth strategies
• Identify, assess and resolve/communicate issues which are going to lead to supply shortfalls or excess stocks and lead/support projects which will eliminate root causes
• Recommend shift quota changes through Pre SR process including RCCP & C:D ratios and compliance to schedule (CtS) with root cause analysis to ensure optimised labour planning
• Provide coordination and escalation point for the management of ‘at risk’ inventory
• Maintain KPIs and ensure flexibility to deliver optimum product availability to meet CSL targets, stock levels
• Partner with BD and source location to ensure product launches and deletions are clearly included in supply plans as applicable
• Engagement with AP Planning Tower on development of the supply planning processes / strategies to continuously improve supply performance, sustainability and inventory optimisation

Weekly Supply Process
• Escalate and resolve any immediate or unforseen issues affecting production in order to minimise impact on customer service levels

Manage Supply Planning Tools and Systems
• Ensure the maintenance of all relevant system data to required standards. This includes date validity, Master Data and other data elements impacting on the planning process

• Food science and technology related background or equal experience
• Good PC literacy in terms of manufacturing applications and MS Office
• Strong communication ability and good at influence without authority
• A minimum of three years relevant experience
• Significant experience in fast moving, manufacturing environment, preferably food or other fast moving, dynamic industry, where shelf life is a constraint
