The purpose of the Shopper Insight Manager Central Europe (CE) Chocolate & World Travel Retail (WTR) role is to champion the shopper insight capability and drive shopper centric plans and execution, across shelf, secondary displays and hot zone. The unique advantange of this role is the responsibility of leading the Chocolate Category Insights within our global Travel Retail business and managing Toblerone innovation platform across Mondelez Europe. 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage research projects, identify knowledge gaps and business needs in respective countries/WTR and build research recommendations and plans with priorities to address them
  • Develop and activate shopper capabilities in organisation locally and on area level
  • Build channel and shopper expertize in WTR, drive the understanding of travel retail industry trends and shopper behaviour
  • Champion retail trends & insights in CE area
  • Build effective working relationships with external suppliers to drive commitment and service quality
  • Ensure all available insights across the company are leveraged to provide a holistic view of the category and channel opportunities and issues relevant for specific projects and/or for the in-store executions.
  • Conrtibute to complex and excitng projects in CE area.

  • Min. 2 years of experience in market research from a FMCG manufacturer or a major retailer
  • 3-5 years of consumer / shopper research experience
  • Understanding of the 4 C’s: strong knowledge of retail environment
  • Research planning skills - especially in understanding business context
  • Strong knowledge of research tools & techniques, distinguishing insights that can be leveraged against the business challenge 
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
