Mondelez International is looking for: Sales Manager

Position Purpose
Strengthen strategic partnership with Distributors in your area, through engagement, showing the importance of their role to Mondelez, showing the power of the company brands and the potential gains

Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnose the area's potential for growth and plan the sale and distribution of volumes according to distributors, products, and customers (retailers) with the objective of achieving the sell-in, sell-out, market share, controlled coverage and numeric distribution targets
  • Ensure routine monitoring and periodic analysis of results by defining and implementing corrective and improvement action plans of the area
  • Lead governance and business meetings with the Distributors in your area, providing them with relevant management information that can improve their performance and give them visibility of the company's short, medium and long-term strategy
  • Manage the implementation of the suggested price policy of the company.
  • Be aware of market trends, as well as competitor actions, providing the company with input and setting corrective and combat plans
  • Ensure the implementation of actions, strategies, platforms and projects of SRP and CCA categories for distributors and customers in your area, as per the Perfect Store definition and guidelines
  • Ensure service level excellence of distributors in your area, applying the concepts and processes of the Max Excellence Program
  • Ensure the efficiency of the use of approved resources, travel expenses and sales costs in a general way in your practice area within the approved budgets and funds by the constant analysis of performance reports, as well as the interaction with all areas of the company with the objective of complying with the company policies and procedures
  • Perform preventive mapping of potential Distributors in your area in order to minimize business disruption risks as a result of bankruptcy, dismissal, and the like.
  • Define a medium and long-term growth plan with the distributors regarding sales, warehousing, logistics, and investment, so as to provide support during the challenges of business growth
  • Coach the Account Executives team constantly aiming at the development of key competencies and pipeline training
  • Manage and ensure the proper use of investments in your area in accordance with the policies and values of MDLZ
  • Follow the evolution of each account executive in numerical, compensation and development terms

Academic Knowledge
  • Bachelor degree / post graduation
Working Knowledge
  • Previous knowledge in Sales or Trade Marketing
  • Solid Background with managing Distributors and Retailers
  • Background in handling simultaneously several KPIs, such as money management, billing, profitability, order tracking and delivery, Trade Marketing and monitoring actions and follow up on the implementation of the execution of the PDV.
