Description
 
Accountable for plan, manage and control the sales performance of Distributors channel in Market Brazil vs.AC plan & IBP process & achievement, translating the Categories Strategies to the channel plan, team and customers, leading the budget & resources to achieve the sales plan in a cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Finance, Demand & CS&L, Legal, Cross Category & Activation, Sales Operation & Communication.
The position requires broad professional sales experience base along with an in-depth knowledge of Mondelēz International products, programs, policies, external customers and organizational structure to lead the right and better discussion for the business with high level plans to growth.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Manage the distribution network, in order to maximize business growth, revenues, profitability and sales effectiveness with the Regional Managers, ensuring compliance with current legislation and internal policies.
  • Discuss, define and deliver proper strategies and structure to each region that better address customers and consumer’s needs, while supporting categories development within their major strategies
  • Lead with Rout to Market team the distribution model governance, under the Right Store strategic agenda, mapping geographic opportunities, selecting the best partners and developing a powerful Perfect Store execution capabilities
  • Foster the development and continuous improvement of distribution culture, setting and reinforcing quality standards in each customer and store format
  • Lead a continuous effort at improving / learning distribution knowledge, that actively drives the Distributors channel future as a major player in the field sales
  • Set a common ground of best practices between van selling model and distributors to get the best of both
  • Negotiate plans and implement initiatives with continuous corrective and pro-active actions
  • Manage trade spend budgets and improve the customer profitability and internal team effectiveness
  • Participate in all appropriate learning and development programs and lead new process, projects and systems implementation for the channel with support areas
  • Lead the JBP process for the Distributors Channel
  • Continual territory management to ensure call efficiencies & productivity in terms of sell-in, sell-out, execution of the picture of success for each category in the Distributors channel, execution of the category and/or cross-category promotional plan in every retail outlet in the territory, placement and ongoing management of selling & execution strategies
