Mondelez International is looking for: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Ensure the timely payables process which enables the supply chain of the Monterrey HUB in coordination with the AP department in Mexico City and Accenture. Resolution of vendors issues, payments hold, claims or any other difference for a flawless materials and services continuity.
  • Resolve any AP issues for direct and indirect vendors of Monterrey HUB
  • Serve as front office SPOC for the vendors and different functions of the HUB operations
  • Timely communicate any payments hold, credits stopage, or vendor’s service matters in order to escalate as appropriate to Mexico City, Accenture, or regionally, which ensures the continuous supply.
  • Continuous monitoring of payables healthy metrics, such as Aging, DPO, Open PO's, and GR's clearing
  • Prompt response to payables process issues together with Accenture
  • Support MEC activities, accounting reviews, and journal entries postings
  • Support on claims, credit notes or returns to warehousing, MRO, Quality areas
  • Any other payables, accounting, reporting analysis as required by its manager

Academic Knowledge
  • Accounting Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English for business conversations 80%
  • Proven AP experience in manufacturing environments, within a transnational company
  • Knowledge of tax and accounting rulings in Mexico
